CIMC Vehicles Australia has continued its support of the Australian Trucking Association with the donation of a curtain-sider.
The trailer was auctioned at the Lights, Camera, Auction! event at Movie World as part of the recent Trucking Australia conference at the Gold Coast, with the winning bid made by Ray Ablett from Abletts Transport.
“CIMC Trailers has been very proud of being one of the main sponsors of the Australian Trucking Association for the past six years,” said Hector Ojea, CIMC Vehicle Australia Director and General Manager.
"Our commitment to the Australian Trucking Association has included a donation for the last six consecutive years of at least one, and at times more, brand new CIMC curtain-sider trailers - all fully equipped with the latest OEM components and technology available in the marketplace."
The CIMC ‘Ultimate Aceliner’ Trailer is a Drop Deck curtain-sider, fitted with JOST Modul landing legs, Razor International automatic landing leg drive, Fuwa K-Hitch axles, WABCO Disc Brakes, Bridgestone Ecopia tyres and a multi-volt lighting system from LED Autolamps.
"100 per cent of the proceeds raised by CIMC goes directly to the ATA so they can continue to carry out their great work supporting all truck drivers and transport companies across Australia," Ojea added.
In May 2015, CIMC made a public commitment to support the ATA for the following five years.
